On-call consultation in cardiac emergencies

Our on-call PCI consultation is intended for cardiac emergencies.

• ST-Elevated Myocardial Infarction (primary or rescue PCI)
• Catastrophic Arrhythmia
• Cardiogenic shock
• Dissection of a rising aorta, if TEE is performed by a cardiologist
• Damaged heart valve (Endocarditis)
• Suspected cardiac tamponade or another situation, which may require pericardiocentesis
• Advice in emergencies involving pacemakers/ICD problems

Coronary angiography is mostly performed within 24 hours, meaning that consultations can usually be performed during office hours or at weekends during the day.
